We welcome singers of all ages and in all voice parts.If you think you might like to join us as a singing member, the best way of getting a taste of how we sing together is by coming along to one of our weekly Monday night rehearsals. Simply turn up - or drop a line to coordinator@halifaxchoral.org
You will be invited to join in with warm ups and any repertoire we are learning (if you want to), but you are equally welcome to just listen! Please feel free to attend as many rehearsals as you wish before deciding to apply to join the choir.
We sing in four-part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor, bass), so it will help if you are familiar with how music is written,

Our standard subscription for the 2024 - 2025 season is £205.
We are keen to welcome people who are returning to singing after having children or other life events and may not be able to commit to a full subscription and be looking for something more flexible. To that end we are happy to offer other options such as shared subsccriptions for couples, introductory pay-as-you sing subscription for singers who are not yet able to commit fully.
